Q: How do you feel with the demise of Otunba Segun Demuren?
A: Otunba Demuren is a force to reckon with in the legal profession and was a progressive minded legal ICON that desired the growth and development of others in the society, God used Otunba Demuren to get me appointed as the Anthony General and Commissioner for Justice in Ogun State and he also provided several support whenever the need arises.
God has actually used him to elevate a lot of family by providing for both moral and financial support. He is a leading light in the legal practice.
He stood for hard work, excellence and integrity and he believed that with God all things are possible and he was able to make his mark in the society through laudable ideas that has upscaled human dignity.
He was a devoted Christian and was made the Chancellor Ijebu Anglican Diocese, may his soul continue to rest in peace.

Q: How do you feel with the demise of Otunba Demuren?
A: I knew Otunba Demuren forty years ago as an articulate legal practitioner, in fact his demise is still a shock to me and we both shared the same birthday and he is always interested in the growth of young lawyers in Nigeria.
His demise is a loss to me because I have lost a mentor during my early days in the law profession, he encouraged me and motivated me into greatness. He took a step further to tutor me about the rudiment of the legal practice.
He made me to understand that there is a season for everything in life while life is turn by turn, adding that with God's faith everything is possible.
Uncle Demuren was not desperate to achieve everything life, if not he ought to have secured a SAN title twenty years ago, not withstanding he was a successful lawyer in Nigeria.
He was passionate about the work of God, he is very humble, accommodating, accessible and he does not discriminate whether old or young.

Q: What can you say about the life Otunba Segun Demuren?
A: Otunba Segun Demuren was a gentle man per excellence, who represented a father figure and I am like a son to him, when I secured one of his apartments for my law firm , we developed a father and son relationship and beyond that, we attended the same church.
He was one of the founding members of the Church, an active member, in fact he was an elder in the church
Whenever you see him, he is always smiling, a gentle man to the core and a cheerful giver.
He is a very successful member of the Nigerian Bar Association, he was very intelligent, academically and spiritually sound and he was able to leverage on this as a true servant of God in the vineyard involving in several church activities.
The legal profession will miss his contributions, even the church will miss him because he was able to build outstanding legacies of hard work and diligence.

Q: Otunba Segun Demuren had proceeded to great beyond, what do you have to say to this?
A: I can write a whole book about Barrister Demuren because he was one of my best friends, a gentle man, kind hearted man, honest and accommodating.
We meet at the law school and we had been friends for decades, he was very dependable and I pray may he continue to rest in the bosom of the Lord.
